TRISHUL LODGE - RANIKHET

Trishul lodge is located in Majhkhali in the state of Uttarakhand in India. It is just 10 km from Ranikhet and 5 km from the golf course.

The lodge has 3 rooms and two toilets with running hot & cold water. The cottage has a fireplace and heaters are provided in each room in winter. The Lodge also has Wi-Fi Internet connectivity.

There are two rooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The rooms on the ground floor are independent bedrooms with twin & double beds and the one on the first floor has a double bed and one additional bed. There are two bathrooms with hot showers. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cook excels in delicious & hygienic meals.

Fresh towels, bed sheets, and soap can be requested whenever required. As you know water is very precious in the mountains, so be eco-friendly and conservative in its use. Laundry service is available on request.

If needed, we can arrange another cottage adjacent to us that has 1 room and an independent kitchen.

Golfers could play in one of the best golf courses in the Himalayas. One can take long walks or visit the village to observe the lifestyle of the local hill folk. One can also visit the war museum in Ranikhet. The Trishul Lodge is a good base for travellers who wish to visit nearby places such as Sheetlakhet, Chaubatia gardens, Jageshwar, Almora etc.

• Ranikhet: Ranikhet sprawls along a ridge that spans 15 km including neighboring Majkhali, facing the Great Himalaya on the edge of the Katyuri Valley.
• Altitude: 6000 ft above sea level
• Best Season: A year–round destination, but March-April, when the snow is melting and spring is in the air, is the best time to visit. May-June is the peak tourist season in Kumaon. The best peak views are in winter but it’s very cold at this time.
• Temperature: Sum: 26° C day, 15° C night, Win: 15° C day, 1° C night
• Distances: 385 km of Delhi, 85 km of Kathgodam, 93 km of Mukteshwar, 50 km of Almora, 60 km of Nainital
• How to Get There:
  By Road: 3 hrs from Kathgodam & 9 hrs. from Delhi
  By Rail (Nearest Railhead): Kathgodam (85 kms / 3 hrs.)
