Day 01 Arrival New Delhi

Arrive at Delhi International Airport. You will be met and transferred to a hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 02 New Delhi-Ranthambhore
Meals: lunch & dinner

You will be picked up from your hotel to connect morning train to Ranthambhore National Park. Arrive at 1300 hours. You will be met and transferred to the wildlife resort. Afternoon drive to the park in open canter (truck) for tiger-tracking. Overnight in a wildlife resort.
Day03 & 04 Ranthambhore National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Morning and afternoon visits to the park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open-top trucks and jeeps (if available). Overnight in a wildlife resort.
Day 05 Ranthambhore National Park-Keoladeo (Bharatpur) Bird Sanctuary
Meals: breakfast

Morning visit to the park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open-top truck / jeep. Post lunch, drive to Keoladeo Ghana National Park (i.e. Bharatpur; 5 hr.) Arrive in the evening. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 06 Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary-Agra-Kanha National Park
Meals: on own

Morning inside the bird sanctuary with your own cycle rickshaw and a driver. Drive to Agra, arriving at noon. Afternoon guided tour of Taj Mahal (Friday closed) and Red Fort (if time permits). Connect overnight air-conditioned sleeper train to Jabalpur at 1700 hours. Overnight in air-conditioned sleeper class train.
Day 07 Kanha National Park
Meals: lunch & dinner

Early morning arrival at Jabalpur. Room for wash and change in Hotel Krishna. Drive to Kanha National Park (4 hours). Afternoon visit to the park for tiger-tracking. Overnight stay in Krishna Jungle Resort or similar.
Day 08 & 09 Kanha National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Morning and evening jungle visits in jeeps. Overnight stay.
Day 10 Kanha-Bandhavgarh National Park
Meals: breakfast & dinner

Morning visit to the park. Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (5 hr.). Arrive at Bandhavgarh in the evening. Overnight in a wildlife resort.
Day 11 & !2 Bandhavgarh National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Morning and evening jungle visits for tiger tracking, nature watch or birding in jeeps. Overnight at a wildlife resort.
Day 13 Bandhavgarh National Park-Delhi
Meals: breakfast & lunch

Morning visit to the park in a jeep. Afternoon drive (time permitting). Drive to Umaria (1-hr.) in the evening to connect overnight air-conditioned sleeper class train to Delhi.
Day 14 Delhi
Meals: on own

Arrive in Delhi at 1100 hours. You will be met at the station and transferred to your hotel. Transfer late evening to the airport to connect flight back to your destination. Tour Ends.

GUJARAT WILDLIFE CULTURAL TOUR (4 nts. / 5 days)

Day 01

Ahmedabad - Sayla

Arrive at Ahmedabad and travel 136 km (2½ hr.) to Sayla. Afternoon visit to Latura to see the Asiatic Wild Ass (3-hour excursion). Dinner and overnight stay in Old Bell Heritage Bungalow.

Day 02 Sayla –Gir National Park

Drive to Gir (5-hours driving time) calling in on the way at Junagadh to see the imposing Uparkot Fort, Buddhist cave-sites, 3rd century BC Ashoka rock edicts, the palace museum filled with Nawabi treasures, the flamboyant royal mausoleum complexes. Arrive lunch-time at Gir Birding Lodge and depart after your meal for a safari in the Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary. This deciduous forest is the last abode of the Asiatic lion and also has a thriving panther (leopard) population. It also has a large population of chital or spotted deer, sambhar, blue bull antelope, chinkara gazelle, chousingha (the world's only four-horned antelope), wild boar and other wildlife. A number of attractive birds can be seen on the game-drive trail. Dinner and overnight at Gir Birding Lodge.
Day 03 Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary

Morning and evening drives in the Gir forests to look for the two big cats and to watch other wildlife. Between the drives, visit Somnath to see the shore temple (one of the 12 holy abodes of Shiva), Sun Temple, Ahilya Temple and other monuments. Dinner and overnight at Gir Birding Lodge.
Day 04 Gir National Park - Sayla

Morning drive in the Gir for wildlife viewing and birding. Drive back to Sayla. Dinner and overnight stay in Old Bell Heritage Bungalow
Day 05 Sayla - Ahmedabad

Morning village visit and birdwatching in Mansarovar Lake just 5 minutes away from the bungalow. OR visit the Indus Valley site at Lothal enroute to Ahmedabad. Drive back to Ahmedabad for return flight/train.

Day 01

Guwahati-Kaziranga
Meals: dinner and tea service

Fly to Guwahati in the morning and transfer to Kaziranga National Park (4½ hr.). In the evening tribal or Bihu dance (subject to availability) by log fire under bamboo grove along with dinner. Overnight at Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi.

Day 02 Kaziranga National Park

Wildlife viewing and nature watch in the park. Late afternoon tribal village visit, Assamese village to see silk worm rearing. Dinner and overnight at Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi.
Day 03 Kaziranga National Park

Early morning visit to the National Park on elephants (optional). Afternoon visit to the park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi.
Day 04 Kaziranga-Guwahati-Calcutta

Drive to Guwahati to connect flight to Calcutta. Arrive in Calcutta in the evening. Overnight in a medium class clean hotel.
Day 05 Calcutta-Sunderbans National Park
Meals: lunch, dinner and tea service

You are met in the morning and transferred by a comfortable vehicle to the jetty at Sonakhali. The 2½ hour drive takes through the lush-green rural Bengal landscape, dotted with its picturesque villages and quaint markets. Our personal boat, the M.B. Sundari awaits you here. You cruise down the rivers Hogol, Gomor, Durgaduani, Bidya and the Gumdi. As you sip tea or coffee, our resident naturalist explains the many mysteries of the Sunderbans. On this stretch alone you can see six different types of Kingfishers! A couple of pleasant hours later you arrive at the Sunderbans Jungle Camp on the Island of Bali. Here a sumptuous lunch awaits you and after a short rest in the well-appointed cottages we take you down to Sajnekhali, to see the Mangrove Interpretation Center and return via the Sudhyanakhali watchtower. You can either dine aboard the boat or at the resort.
Day 06 Sunderbans National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea service

This day we take you on a full day cruise. We leave just after breakfast and head towards the canopied walk at Dobanki. We then proceed to the furthest point-Netidhopani, where you can see age-old excavations and view game from the watchtower. If you are lucky you can spot the famous swimming tigers of Sunderbans. We keep a sharp watch for basking Estuarine Crocodiles and the elusive Irrawady Dolphins. Lunch is on board and we return late in the evening after watching the spectacular sunset. In the evening the local village troupe enacts the opera based on the popular myth of the Goddess Bonobibi.
Day 07 Sunderbans National Park-Calcutta
Meals: breakfast, lunch and tea service

We take you on a tour of the island village of Bali, where you can watch local residents conducting their everyday chores-fishing, weaving and boat-making. A short cruise in country boats along the narrow canals completes the Sunderbans experience. After lunch we transfer you back to Kolkata. Fly to the next destination.
